he total number of 178 patients from Dar Es Salaam, Coast and Morogoro regions have been transferred to the Hospital of Health and Scientific Physics and Psychiatric Hospitals, Mloganzila Complex (MAMC) until December 31 last year.
Confirming the exercise, Acting Vice-President of the University of Health and Scientific Sciences Muhimbili - MUHAS Professor Apolinary Kamuhabwa said today that among them 91 are men and 87 are women.
He said the action was the execution of the order of President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. John Pombe Magufuli, who delivered it at the launch of the Hospital at the end of last year, where they were abused and given care at the local hospital unit.
Professor Kamuhabwa has estimated that among the 178 evacuated patients 91 are men and 87 women. In addition, the Muhimbili National Hospital has provided a total of 64 patients and 114 (114) have come from the Coastal and Morogoro hospitals and few people who are going to themselves.
