Kisutu Judge Magistrate's Court, in Dar es Salaam, has issued a warrant for arrested Agnes Gerald Waya, known as Masogange (28), having failed to appear in court for a second time in his case.
Judge Magistrate's Court, Wilbroad Magistrate, has issued a decree after the Republic's case, if the case was scheduled to be referred, but the accused, sponsors and defense advocates were not present in court.
Government advocate Adolf Nkini claimed the case was scheduled to be referred to but because the accused and its sponsors were not in court for a second time, he requested a case of arrest of a defendant.
The judge said because twice in a row the accused has failed to come to court to hear his case without notice his court gives a certificate of his arrest.
Masogange is faced with two charges against drug abuse of Heroin and Oxazepam.
In Case No. 77 of 2017, Masogange is alleged that between February 7 and 14, 2012, in unknown areas within the city of Dar es Salaam, he used drugs in the form of Heroin (Diacety Imophine).
